Udonis Haslem, born on June 9, 1980), whose hometown is located in Miami, Florida, USA (Miami FL), is an American professional basketball player who plays the power forward/center position on the court. Everyone calls him the “team soul”.
During his college career, he studied at the University of Florida, during which he averaged 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. The performance of the university was very good, and he was inducted into the University of Florida Sports Hall of Fame as the “Gator Superstar”.
However, Haslem did not go well in the NBA draft. In 2002, he became the undrafted pick, but he was a very inspirational undrafted pick. Although he failed to join the NBA for the first time, he never gave up. After playing in the French League for one season, he officially joined the NBA Heat. In terms of serving as the team’s insider, he performed very well. In the 2004-05 season, he averaged 10.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. In 2006, he helped the team win the first championship in team history.
Why is he called the soul of the team? Because of his iron-blooded style on and off the court, his active fighting spirit, and he has been playing for the Heat, and he doesn’t care about salary. As an insider, he is not tall enough, has a tough defense, is active in rebounding, and is not afraid of inside confrontation.
