In the 2009 NBA draft, Curry was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the seventh pick in the first round, and then signed a four-year contract to start his legendary journey in the NBA. In the 2011-12 season, Stephen Curry continued to suffer from injuries, and announced that he would be reimbursed for the season before the end of the regular season. In the 2012-13 season, Curry returned from injury and renewed his contract with the Warriors. The team then confirmed to build a team with Curry, Thompson, and Green as the three cores. In the 2013-14 season, Curry continued his outstanding performance last season, averaging 24 points, 8.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. In the 2014-15 season, Curry won the regular season MVP for the first time and led the Warriors to their first championship since 1975. In the 2015-16 season, Curry won the MVP again with a hot attitude, becoming the first player in NBA history to be elected MVP with unanimous votes. In the same year, the Warriors broke the previous Chicago Bulls record with 73 wins and reached the 2016 NBA Finals, but unfortunately lost to the Cavaliers. In 2016, Curry set an NBA regular season three-pointer record with 402 three-pointers. In July 2017, Curry signed a five-year contract worth $201 million with the Warriors to continue his legendary journey with the Warriors.

He is considered a decisive player who truly changed the nature of the NBA system. Many people’s first impression of Curry is the unreasonable three-pointer bursts. Unlike traditional players’ jump shots, his outside shots are shot as soon as he jumps. With teammate Klay Thompson, they got the nickname “Splash Brothers” because of their excellent three-point shooting skills, and the sound of the ball when it hit the net was like a splash.
