In the 2008 NBA draft, Serge Ibaka was selected by the Seattle Supersonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder) with the 24th pick in the first round. However, according to the team’s arrangement, Ibaka continued to stay in Spain for training. The 2009-10 season officially entered the NB. During the Thunder team, Ibaka won the NBA block leader for two consecutive seasons and entered the league’s best defensive first team for three consecutive years. In the selection of the best defensive player in the 2011-12 season, Ibaka ranked second. In 2016, Ibaka was traded to the Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors the following year. In the 2018-19 season, he won the NBA championship with the Raptors. In 2020, Ibaka joined the Los Angeles Clippers.
