In the 2013-14 season, he represented the Thunder in the second game of the first round of the playoffs, with Jackson as the starter. After the end of the season, Jackson participated in the Orlando Summer League in the same year and scored 35 points in the game against the Pistons, setting a record for the summer league. On February 20, 2015, Jackson joined the Detroit Pistons. In the 2014-15 season, he averaged 17.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game.
