In college, he studied at the University of South Carolina (2016-17 season), averaging 29.0 minutes per game, scoring 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals, shooting 40.7% from the field, 29.8% from three-pointers, and 59.7% from free throws.
He was not selected by the team in the 2017 NBA draft, and then signed with the Los Angeles Lakers to participate in the 2017 NBA Summer League. Signed with the Dallas Mavericks on August 8, 2017.
