Otto Porter studied at Georgetown University during his college days. In his freshman season, Porter averaged 9.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. In his sophomore season, he averaged 16.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, and was elected the best player in the United States and the best player in the Big East.
In the 2013 draft, Porter was selected by the Washington Wizards with the third overall pick in the first round. He played well in the 2015-16 season.
