After being undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, Marshall signed a two-way contract with the New Orleans Pelicans and their NBA G League affiliate, the Erie Bay Hawks, on December 8, 2020. On May 7, 2021, the Pelicans signed him to a multi-year contract. In his rookie season, Marshall averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Pelicans, shooting 39.2 percent from the field.
