Conley studied at Ohio State University. In his freshman season, he played 39 games and averaged 11.3 points, 6.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game, shooting 52% from the field. Averaged 16 points, 4.8 assists, 2 steals and 5 rebounds in 6 NCAA tournament games. In the championship game, he scored 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Selected for the first team selected by the media and the second team selected by the coach, as well as the best team for the top 10 games. He was selected by the Grizzlies with the 4th pick in the first round of the 2007 NBA draft. In the 2010-11 season, Conley led the Grizzlies to stage a miracle of black eight, and defeated the No. 1 Spurs in the Western Conference in the first round of the playoffs. On February 28, 2016, Conley scored 19 points and 8 assists in 30 minutes of his debut. His career total reached 8,570 points, the second most in team history. On July 2, 2016, he reached a five-year $153 million maximum salary contract with the Grizzlies. On February 16, 2017, Conley made 845 three-pointers in his Grizzlies career, surpassing Mike Miller’s 844, the first in team history. He was traded to the Jazz in 2019 and followed the Jazz in the first round of the Western Conference. He averaged 19.8 points, 5.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 33 minutes per game in the regular season.

Conley is a well-known “Mr. Nice Man” in the league. He plays very cleanly and does not make “superfluous moves” that hurt his opponent. He is a good brain and can organize the team well. It can also limit the opponent’s attack very well.
