Dort studied at Arizona State University and averaged 16 points per game in his freshman year, so he gave up his studies for the next three years after his freshman season and tried to enter the NBA. In the 2019 NBA draft, unfortunately he was not selected, the Thunder extended a helping hand and provided a two-way contract to help him land in the NBA.
Dort’s shooting percentage was terrible when he was in college. After arriving in the NBA, this statistic is even worse. He has no sights for NBA-level interference shots. But Dort on the defensive end is quite tough. He once faced Harden in the playoffs, and he was not inferior. His tough defense made it difficult for opponents to play in the game.
