Nunn studied at two universities during his college days. The first was the University of Illinois. He averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in his freshman season and won the rookie award. However, he was later dismissed by the University of Illinois due to a certain behavior. In order to revive his basketball career, he moved to the University of Oakland, where he played well until his senior season and was selected to the first team.
When it came to the 2018 draft, Nunn regretted losing in the end, but his performance in the Warriors Development League team got the opportunity provided by the Heat, and he successfully secured a seat in the NBA. Coming to the Jagged Heat, his tough style of play shined in the team, and when coach Spoelstra boldly used young people, Nunn was considered to have completed the counterattack and gained a firm foothold in his career. Nunn’s height is not an advantage, but he is explosive and hits the basket well, and has a three-point shooting range.
