Joe Ingles started his basketball career in the Australian League, and then moved to the Spanish and Israeli leagues. On September 16, 2014, Joe Ingles signed with the Los Angeles Clippers to enter the NBA, but was waived a month later. On October 28, 2014, the Utah Jazz acquired Ingles through an application. On July 11, 2015, Ingles officially signed with the Jazz. On March 18, 2018, Ingles scored his 179th three-pointer in the 2017-18 season, breaking the record for the number of three-pointers made by the Jazz in a single season.
Ingles has the high ball quotient of most white players, and his physical talent allows him to serve as a swingman on the front line. He is good at pick-and-rolls, three-pointers, and can digest part of the organization. He has a good defense and is a plug-and-play championship puzzle that doesn’t require system adaptation.
