As a freshman in high school, Wiseman helped Unsworth win the runner-up in the state championship, averaging 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks per game; during his sophomore year, Wiseman averaged 20.1 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks per game. Helped the team win a state semifinal spot; during his senior year, Wiseman studied at Memphis East High School, averaging 18.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game, leading the team to win the state championship.
