Dewayne Dedmon, born on August 12, 1989), whose hometown is located in Lancaster, California (Lancaster CA), is an American professional basketball player who joined the NBA in June 2013 and played the center role on the field.
During his college career, he studied at the University of Southern California. In his junior season, Dedmon played 31 games and averaged 6.7 points and 7 rebounds per game. His performance was quite satisfactory. On April 25, 2013, he announced his participation in the NBA draft.
Unexpectedly lost in June 2013, he signed with the Warriors and started his first NBA career. Dedmond’s career in the NBA was not smooth. He moved to many teams and did not gain a foothold in one team. He is a center with moderate physical fitness, a frame-protecting player, good at rebounding, defending and eating cakes, but his shooting ability and inside singles ability are not outstanding.
During the 2019 offseason, the Kings received a three-year, $40 million contract, but applied for a deal in January 2020.
