School: Louisiana State University

Draft: No. 1 pick in the first round of 2016

Nationality: Australia/American

Salary this season: $29.25 million

In 2015, Simmons entered Louisiana State University. On December 1, 2015, Simmons scored 15 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists in 40 minutes, becoming the first player in team history to grab at least 18 rebounds twice in a single season in the past 20 seasons. Named First Team All-American and named National Freshman of the Year. Selected by the 76ers with the first overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. But he was sidelined for a year with a right foot injury. In the 2017-18 season, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year. On March 27, 2018, Ben Simmons had a total of 577 assists in the season, surpassing Allen Iverson (567), becoming the rookie player with the most assists in a single season in the history of the 76ers. On July 17, 2019, the 76ers and Simmons reached a five-year contract extension of $170 million. In the 2019-20 season, Simmons missed the playoffs due to injury, and the 76ers also stopped the first round.

He has good physical fitness and is a tall defender who can play in multiple positions. Strong athletic ability, good at scoring breakthroughs, strong defensive and stealing abilities, strong passing and organizational skills, but shooting ability needs to be improved. Despite Simmons’s outrageous shooting range than the center, he is a very perfect player, but there is no if.
