Salary this season: $3.46 million

In high school, Aaron Nesmith won the SCISA Class 3A Player of the Year three times. Studying at Vanderbilt University in college, Aaron Nesmith is one of the most improved players in the NCAA in the 2019-20 season. During this period, he averaged 23.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, and his three-point shooting percentage reached 52.2%. Nasmith is an NCAA Division I scorer and has the highest scoring average for a Vanderbilt player since Tom Hagan in 1968-69. After the season, Aaron Nesmith declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.

Aaron Nesmith is very good at creating jump shots through interspersed running. He has a strong ability to adjust his body, which enables him to maintain a good touch even in a state of motion. He rarely dribbles to create shooting opportunities by himself. The ball ability still needs to be improved. His physical condition is not bad, which provides some help to his defense. In comparison, he is better at defending the ball holder.

In November 2020, Aaron Nesmith was selected by the Celtics with the 14th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft. On November 24, 2020, the Boston Celtics signed Naismith to a four-year rookie contract worth $16.5 million, including team options for the third and fourth years.
