On February 18, , according to a report from The Sporting Tribune founder Arash Markazi, the Lakers’ encrypted tennis stadium at home is expected to bid for the 2025 All-Star Game
The right to host the competition.
“We plan to submit bids when the NBA notifies us that the bidding is open in 2025,” said Lee Zeidman, president of Crypto Tennis.
“And we’d love to have an All-Star Game in 2025, making it every seven years we’ve had it since 2004.”
The last time NBA All-Star Weekend was held in Los Angeles was in 2018, when the arena was still called the Staples Center.
The Crypto Tennis Stadium has now completed the first phase of a three-year renovation plan, which will cost $375 million more than the arena’s original price, including new LED screens, refurbished bars and suites, and more.
The renovations will be complete in 2024, just in time for the 2024-2025 NBA season.
