After the game, Celtics player Marcus Smart was interviewed by the media and talked about teammate Derek White.
“No, I didn’t feel bad for hurting White, he deserved it. No, no, I was kidding,” Smart said.
“The moment he got injured was scary because I had a similar experience, but in training.”
“I was really upset at that moment, especially since I was the one to blame. That collision was really unfortunate.”
“When I heard White was fine and able to play today, I felt better. It was definitely a very scary moment.”
