Nunn was sent by the Lakers to the Wizards in exchange for Hachimura.

In 2021, Nunn and the Lakers signed a 2-year 10.3 million contract with a player option for the second year;
In the first season, Nunn’s contract was $5 million. Nunn only played in the preseason games, and he was reimbursed for the regular season due to a knee injury;
Nunn implemented the player option in the 2022 offseason;
In the second season, Nunn’s contract was $5.25 million. Nunn played 39 games for the Lakers, averaging 6.7 points per game, shooting 40.9% from the field and 32.5% from the three-point range. He was traded to the Wizards.
