On January 31, , the NBA officially announced that Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard were named NBA Players of the Week.
Antetokounmpo, the two-time MVP of the year, led the Bucks to a four-game undefeated run last week, averaging 38.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
It is worth noting that Antetokounmpo scored 50 points in the Bucks’ victory over the Pelicans yesterday (30th), which is also his most dazzling performance this week.
So far this season, Antetokounmpo has averaged 31.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 39 games. The Bucks he led temporarily ranked third in the Eastern Conference with a record of 33 wins and 17 losses.
