Talked about his experience in the Spurs.
“As a rookie at the time, I was disappointed by the lack of playing time. Most of my time was spent in the Development League.” Murray said in an interview.
“It was a rollercoaster ride. I’ve come home and been annoyed.”
“The team brought in an Argentine guard who had a good relationship with Manu Ginobili, and he was ahead of me. I had Tony Parker and Patty Mills in front of me.”
“They’re just playing psychological warfare.”
“The Spurs just want to see if they can break you. What they put me through, I don’t really understand.”
“Also, in 2018, Parker left the Spurs for the Hornets, and then I will replace Parker as the team’s starting point guard.”
“I think he could have stayed and helped me with a smooth transition. I know he didn’t like doing it because if he had, he could have been my mentor and taught me how to do it.”
