January 13 News Lone Ranger guard Luka Doncic is training today
interviewed before.
You’ve been one of the best scorers in the league since you came into the league.
Have you ever wondered how long it would take, or how much effort it would take, to come close to the scoring record that LeBron (James) is now?
Doncic: “This is my fifth season. I think about today’s game, not the scoring record.”
Given what LeBron has accomplished, does that lead you to set yourself goals regarding length of career?
Doncic: “I don’t have a goal. It’s probably as long as my body can last. Like I said, ’20 years, that’s a long time.’ I don’t know. I’m going to my
farm.”
You don’t really own a farm yet, do you?
Doncic: “No. I’ll find a place. In Slovenia. I have a friend who has a farm, so I’m studying there.”
Do you raise livestock?
Do they grow vegetables?
Doncic: “They produce milk, veggies, cheese, everything. Whatever you need.”
Will we see “Luca cheese” someday?
Doncic: “It’s a product my friend made, so I don’t want to be his competitor. Maybe he’ll stop so I can make it.”
The Lone Ranger will challenge the Lakers away at 11:00.
