On February 14th, , the Warriors defeated the Wizards 135-126 at home, ending their 2-game losing streak.
Klay Thompson played 36 minutes in this campaign, made 10 of 21 shots, 4 of 13 three-pointers, and 3 of 4 free throws. He scored the team’s second-highest 27 points, and also contributed 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
After the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr revealed that Clay may play against the Clippers tomorrow.
In response, Clay responded: “I am looking forward to playing tomorrow. This is definitely a milestone moment for me. Now that we have reached the sprint stage of the regular season, I hope to make more contributions to the team.”
It is worth mentioning that since suffering a serious injury in G6 of the 2019 Finals, Clay has never played two back-to-back games.
