March 7th, former NBA player Anthony Walker talked about the Knicks on the First Things First program today
Smith’s playoff prospects this season.
The Knicks have been in a state of flux recently, winning a wave of nine consecutive victories, and currently rank fifth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 39 wins and 27 losses.
Walker said: “I don’t think the Knicks’ personnel strength is enough to go further in the playoffs. And they even lost Rose this year. Rose played very well there last year.”
Last season, Rose averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists per game. This season, Rose averaged only 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, and has completely fallen out of the team’s rotation.
